Here's my book club pick for October, (and hey, if anyone wants to join in a cyber-club of sorts, perhaps I will start some discussion on it in October through this blog...just a thought).
Couldn't resist the whole Burma/Karen refugee theme, and the quirky descriptions of it. We shall soon see if it was a worthy choice:

Hmm, heard that this Amy Tan books is good - and it seems a fitting choice with your travels, etc.
I read ELegance of the Hedgehog for my book club last winter, and will be interested to see what you have to say about it!

Hey Joy. Not a big fan of the book club (only because it feels like school and homework). I actually love reading. Anyway good to hear from you. Have you made any decisions about the adoption. Age changes or possibly a single adoption.
